This bejeweled object/brooch depicts a warrior in renaissance armor. The front of his palladium armor features a pair of gold dragon wings set with yellow diamonds and rubies. His shoulder pads are gold lion masks and diamonds and his collar of diamonds and rubies with suspended crimson ruby briolettes. The
articulated helmet is covered in a mass of interweaving snakes paved in colored diamonds and yet when the fierce mask is lifted the warrior is sculpted and cast in a patinated gold. A black lacquer and gold leaf box with silver hardware and turquoise accents houses this piece.
